ANACAONASTUDIOS

Your voyage. Your choices.

Privacy, in plain language.

Updated September 8, 2026 · Version 2026-09-08.2 · Canoa: Golden Tide and this website

Canoa works without a studio account. Game progress stays on your device. Mobile editions may offer ads and a one-time purchase that removes automatic ads; purchase records are processed separately from game progress.

Who to contact

Anacaona Studios is operated by J.R.SOSA & CO. LLC, 2125 Biscayne Blvd, Ste 204 #24427, Miami, Florida 33137 US. This policy covers Canoa: Golden Tide and the Anacaona Studios website. For support, privacy questions, or requests concerning personal information, contact contact@anacaonastudios.com. No player account or identity document is required to play.

Game information stored on your device

Canoa saves your scores, local voyage history, flowers, cosmetic unlocks, campaign level progress and stars, goals, and preferences such as language and sound using local app storage. The current game has no studio account, cloud save, or online leaderboard. We do not operate a server that receives this game progress. Your operating system may include app storage in its own backup, depending on your device settings.

To erase saved game progress, open Settings → Reset saved progress and confirm. Device app-storage controls can also remove local app data. Resetting game progress does not reset an ad provider's separate consent choices or records, or erase store purchase ownership.

The app also stores the accepted Terms version and acceptance date on your device. This records your choice locally; we do not receive a player acceptance record on a studio server. Terms acceptance is separate from Google's advertising privacy choices.

Advertising on mobile

Android and iOS editions may show capped automatic ads between reviewed voyages and optional rewarded videos for 25 cosmetic flowers or an eligible continue. Active play is never interrupted by an ad. Remove forced ads disables automatic ads; voluntary rewarded offers remain. The browser edition has no ads or purchases.

When advertising is enabled, Google's Mobile Ads SDK may process your IP address and approximate location inferred from it, device or app identifiers, ad views and interactions, and diagnostic or performance information. Google uses this information to deliver and measure ads and to protect against fraud. The game requests non-personalized ads, but that does not make advertising anonymous or eliminate device-data processing.

Google's User Messaging Platform checks whether consent or other privacy choices are required before the app requests an ad. Where available, open Settings → Ad privacy choices to review or change those choices. Ads remain unavailable if the SDK does not permit a request. Your game remains playable. Device privacy controls may provide additional options for advertising identifiers.

Read Google's privacy policy and how Google uses information from partner apps for its data practices, retention, and available controls. We do not provide your name, email address, or game scores to AdMob.

The app begins advertising privacy checks only after Terms acceptance. When applicable requirements permit it, the SDK may contact Google and preload ads before an offer is selected or an automatic ad becomes eligible. Declining a rewarded offer or buying Remove forced ads does not by itself disable all permitted Google SDK requests, because voluntary rewarded ads remain available. The app uses the SDK completion signal to grant the chosen reward. We are responsible for that reward; contact us if it is missing after a completed ad.

Purchases on mobile

When native purchases are enabled, the app connects to RevenueCat after Terms acceptance to retrieve products and check existing purchase access, including before you decide to buy. RevenueCat processes a generated app user identifier, purchase history, product and transaction identifiers, store receipts or purchase tokens, entitlement status, and technical information such as app, device and operating-system details, last connection time, locale and currency. This supports validation, restoration, fraud prevention, access to the purchased feature and purchase reporting for the studio. The studio can view purchase records in RevenueCat.

We do not send your name, email address, game scores or campaign progress to RevenueCat, and we disable its automatic advertising-identifier collection and optional SDK diagnostics. Payment credentials are handled by Apple or Google; the studio does not receive your card number. The SDK may keep purchase information on the device to support access while offline. Resetting game progress does not delete store or RevenueCat purchase records.

For requests about purchase data processed for the studio, contact us at the address above. We may need an appropriate store transaction reference to locate a record; do not send payment credentials. Purchase records may need to be retained to provide restoration, prevent fraud, resolve disputes or meet legal obligations. RevenueCat processes end-user data on the studio’s behalf, with processing in the United States and applicable service-provider safeguards. See RevenueCat’s privacy information, Apple’s privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy. Removing records does not itself cancel or refund a store purchase.

This website

The studio website is hosted on Vercel. Hosting infrastructure processes request information such as IP address, browser information, and requested page to deliver and secure the site. We have not added advertising, analytics scripts, tracking cookies, or a signup form to this website. See Vercel's privacy policy for its hosting-related practices.

When you contact us

If you send email, we receive the address and message you choose to share so we can respond. Please avoid sending passwords, financial details, or other sensitive information. You may ask us to delete support correspondence; some records may need to be kept to address the request or meet applicable obligations. Email and advertising providers handle their own records under their policies.

Your choices and requests

You can play without an account, decline a rewarded-ad offer, change available ad privacy choices, reset local game progress, and contact us about personal information you have sent to the studio. Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide additional access, correction, deletion, objection, or opt-out rights. We can address information held by the studio; device backups and provider-controlled records may require using the provider's controls.

Retention, security and requests

Local progress remains until it is reset or removed through app or device storage controls; device backups and ad-provider records are separate. Support messages and operational records may be retained to answer requests, maintain security, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations; provider retention is described in their policies. No system is completely secure. Contact us about information held by the studio and applicable access, correction, deletion, objection, portability, or opt-out rights. We may need proportionate information to verify a request, will explain any applicable refusal, and will respond as required by law. You may also contact a competent privacy regulator. Do not send identity documents unless we explain why they are necessary.

Children and changes

Canoa does not ask players to submit their age or contact details. A parent or guardian should contact us if they believe a child has provided personal information to the studio. We will review the information and take steps required by applicable law. This policy does not replace any parental consent required for advertising or other data collection. Material changes to our information practices will be explained in an updated policy and, where required, a notice or consent request in the app or website. The date identifies this version.
